A Decade of Visual Evolution

EFX has supported Penn & Teller: Fool Us for over 10 seasons, serving as a long-term creative partner in shaping the visual identity of the show. EFX developed a modular layered LED design framework enabling rapid visual deployment and live recompositing during rehearsal and broadcast.

Across a decade of production, our role expanded beyond individual performance environments to include ongoing refinement of stage aesthetics, branding continuity, and visual system scalability. As the show evolved, EFX introduced new design frameworks, updated LED stage language, and developed more flexible compositing structures to support changing creative direction, performance styles, and broadcast needs.

Through continuous collaboration with producers and talent, we helped modernize the show’s visual presentation while maintaining its iconic theatrical character — ensuring each season felt fresh, elevated, and production-ready at scale.
